Dear Students, Colleagues and Friends,
The Habs are off to a bit of a shaky start, but are improving quickly, and we would like to take this opportunity to invite you to watch them at The Lord Reading Law Society's 3rd annual Hockey Night!
Please join us at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at the Lord William Pub (265 rue des Seigneurs H3J 0B3) to watch the Canadiens take PK Subban and the Predators, while meeting and networking with young members of the Society and Jewish law students in Montreal.
We have reserved a private area at the Lord William Pub to watch the game together, and free food and drink will be served.
The Lord Reading Law Society is an association of Quebec jurists - primarily, though not exclusively, of the Jewish faith - that was founded almost 70 years ago. Through its renowned speakers program and scholarship program, the Society has fostered and maintained a tradition and reputation of excellence in the legal community. The Society offers opportunities for mentorship, networking with colleagues and judges and programs featuring high-calibre CLE-accredited speakers.
The Society encourages the involvement of younger lawyers and students in order to continue its excellent traditions.
We look forward to seeing you and providing you with an opportunity to meet your colleagues and future colleagues in an informal, fun atmosphere. Drinks, the Lord Reading spirit of camaraderie and the Habs - the perfect combination!
