The Society holds six dinner meetings between September and June.\u00a0 To date, the Society has established that three of these meetings are dedicated to specific subjects, as follows:<\/p>\n
The Alan B. Gold Advocacy Lecture<\/b>
\nIn honour of former Chief Justice Alan B. Gold. As its title implies, this lecture is devoted to the art of advocacy.<\/p>\n
The Henry Steinberg Memorial Lecture<\/b>
\nThe second meeting of each year is named in memory of the late Henry Steinberg, a Justice of the Court of Appeal.\u00a0 The theme of this lecture has generally been ethics and\/or Jewish content.<\/p>\n
The Human Rights Lecture<\/b>
\nThe third meeting, the Human Rights Lecture is delivered by the recipient of the Society\u2019s Human Rights Award, which is granted.<\/p>\n
