Please note our program for the Student Dinner has been modified. We are delighted to welcome human rights specialist Me Tamara Thermitus, Ad. E., visiting fellow at McGill’s Faculty of Law and former Chair of Quebec’s Commission des droits de la personne et des droits de la jeunesse. Notably, Tamara negotiated the nature and scope of the mandate of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission in her role as the Federal government’s chief negotiator.

Tamara will be joined on stage by criminal defence attorney Me Lauren Shadley, partner at Shadley Knerr and former President of the Law Society of Nunavut, for a wide-ranging conversation entitled “Restorative Justice, Restoring Justice.”
