We are delighted to welcome The Honourable David T. Lametti PC QC MP, Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada. Minister Lametti’s talk will focus on – what else – justice and the government.
David Lametti was a Professor of Law at McGill University, a member of the Institute of Comparative Law, and a founding member of the Centre for Intellectual Property Policy. Minister Lametti was elected as the Member of Parliament for the riding of LaSalle—Émard—Verdun in the 2015 federal election. He served as parliamentary secretary to the Minister of International Trade and parliamentary secretary to the Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development before being sworn in as the 52nd Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada on January 14, 2019.
We expect the dinner-meeting will be approved for one hour of CLE accreditation from the Barreau du Québec shortly. In addition, this event is eligible for continuing education credit pursuant to the rules of the Chambre des notaires du Québec.
We look forward to seeing you on June 11th!
